Founded in 1998, Sokouk seeks to position itself as a leader in the region’s growing real estate investment market with a far-reaching global vision. As a closed shareholding company in Kuwait, we draw from diversified capital strength (paid-up KD30 million, or nearly US $100,000,000) to invest and trade in the real estate sector through a well-structured matrix of companies and alliances. We are dedicated to providing bold new investment strategies for individual and institutional investors.
Philosophy
We identify unique products and use targeted expertise and Sharia-compliant practices to manage them. The result, a sound investment you can trust and grow with.
Our commitment to Islamic financial conduct is foremost among our guiding principles. In fact, we draw our very name from the sukuk financial model, which is a newly Islamic financial instrument used for investment structuring and leasing to corporate and individual clients and securitizing asset-backed securities.
Our Islamic clients are assured full compliance with these principles through our reliance upon a Sharia board of leading scholars.
Strategy
Our strategy is focused on investment in the most mature and liquid markets, and in sectors with a stable risk/return profile. As a result, we offer investors a portfolio of prime properties that should achieve relatively high income returns and exhibit low volatility. This arrangement typically offers good value, solid return, portfolio diversification and safer risk/return prospects in relation to other financial securities.
The real estate investment market is dynamic and growing. And so are we. We are positioning ourselves as an industry leader that combines proven practices, Islamic fundamentals and a highly adaptable and forward thinking approach.
Approach
Our team carefully evaluates trends and client preferences, available data and financial forecasts. We structure financial models and execute our strategy using strategic business alliances. This typically involves real estate development companies, sales and marketing partners, investment specialists and portfolio managers. This way, we are able to serve a wide range of clients and respond to changing market demands.
Our focus is clear:
• Concentration on investment in the real estate development and leisure sector
• Developing innovative offerings for investors and individuals
• Providing excellent and consistent client service
• Developing an organizational and operational infrastructure based on synergic and strategic business partners |
